Wang Xinwei listened to the report on the recent progress of the company's key work, and expressed appreciation and full recognition for the contributions made by Fangda Group and Northern Heavy Industry to society. He pointed out that Northern Heavy Industries is a symbol of Shenyang's manufacturing industry and also a business card of the city. He hopes that under the leadership of Fangda Group, Northern Heavy Industries will have lofty aspirations and stimulate its potential for progress. He emphasized that promoting industrial innovation through technological innovation is the only way for the high-quality development of equipment manufacturing industry. Northern Heavy Industry should deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on new industrialization and new quality productivity, conscientiously implement the requirements of the provincial and municipal committees, develop new products guided by market demand, open up new fields and tracks, cultivate new driving forces, and create new advantages. This year, several key projects, including the world's largest 5.5-meter shearing equipment, have entered the production stage. At the same time, Northern Heavy Industries actively explores the differentiated development path of advantageous technologies, explores the cross scenario and cross industry extension application of tunnel boring machine technology, and develops various models of tunnel boring machines for use in the pumped storage field.
Sun Guichen stated that Northern Heavy Industries will actively promote industrial cooperation, fully leverage its own advantages, and make efforts in areas such as environmental protection equipment, aircraft maintenance, and manufacturing clusters.
