On September 3, Wang Xinbei, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Shenyang Municipal People's Congress, and his delegation went to Beifang Heavy Industry for research, and were warmly received by Zhang Bin, president of Beifang Heavy Industry, and Ye Long, chief engineer and other leaders.
Zhang Bin first of all expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of Wang Xinbei and his delegation, and reported the basic situation of Fangda Group and NHI in recent years. He said that Liaoning Fangda Group Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fangda Group”) is a large, distributed, and multi-industry conglomerate with strong international competitiveness and diversified business interests underpinned by five major sectors of carbon, steel, healthcare, commerce, and aviation, Fangda Group has total assets of more than 400 billion yuan and nearly 130,000 employees. NHI is the core backbone enterprise of China's equipment manufacturing industry, established in 1921, known as "The Cradle of China Heavy Machinery Industries". Since the NHI joined the Fangda Group, the main indicators such as enterprise sales revenue and new orders have increased year after year, especially the main indicators have increased significantly in the first half of this year. Zhang Bin focused on the company's mining equipment, metallurgical equipment, tunnel engineering equipment, bulk material handling equipment and other fields of various products and landing gear maintenance and large scientific equipment and other projects.
Wang Xinbei appreciated Fangda Group and Northern Heavy Industries for their social responsibility and contribution to corporate value, and affirmed that Northern Heavy Industries continued to deepen mixed ownership reform and continue to make outstanding achievements. He hoped that enterprises could make persistent efforts, continue to increase product research and development efforts, expand production capacity, consolidate the core competitiveness of enterprises, and contribute more to the economic development of Shenyang.
