NHI "Cooperation 2" Tunnel Boring Machine Starts Tunneling

On April8th morning, along with a "rumble" roar, NHI "Cooperation2" Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM for short) started tunneling at the 17m underground construction site ofCulture West Road Station of metro line 10. Compared with other TBM, this TBMmade by NHI is more humane with reasonable spatial distribution and its cutter parametersare more suitable for Shenyangsoil. "Cooperation 2" TBM complete the installation of 20 ringsegments within 24 hours. It is equivalent of tunneling 24 meters, by an averageof tunneling one meter per hour.
