NHI’s TBM creates a successful open for the extension line between Beijing and Tianjin
Recently, that the Φ11.97m slurry balance TBM called”NO. 45 of SHMG” emerged through 18 months’ work. It marks the successful open for the extension line between Beijing and Tianjin, which is the national key construction project in China.
The full length of the extension line between Beijing and Tianjin is 44.815 kilometers, for the only one TBM tunnel with 2.8 kilometers; the Φ11.97m bentonite slurry balance TBM with air cushion type from our company is used in the part of 2.25 kilometers. The installed total power of the equipment is 3960kw. The length of main body is 50 meters and the weight is 1300 tons.
It creates another successful achievement after that NHI’s TBM is used in the national projects of high-speed rail SHIZIYANG tunnel between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Wuhan river tunnel as “the first tunnel of Yangtze River”, the railway underground line for Beijing and Tianjin in China.
