With the efforts of scientific research backbone, in 2022,NHI developed more than 30 projects of passenger car steering column products, involving multiple fields such as machinery, electric regulation, pneumatic regulation, etc., and the supporting products achieved full coverage from A0 to B-class models, and overcame more than 20 key core processes, and more than 10 products achieved outsourcing to home-made.

In 2022, NHI applied for 6 invention patents and 4 utility model patents, and its proprietary technologies such as ball drive shaft, ball cage constant velocity universal joint, steering column locking device and large cylinder filled the domestic gap and were at the domestic leading level.
NHI can pass the audit of many passenger car customers without continuous investment in assembly, processing, and test equipment. In 2022, NHI invested 15 sets of specialized processing, assembly, and test equipment, introduced domestic advanced straightening and inner hole polishing equipment, established a leading environmental simulation durability laboratory in the same industry in China, and the first fully automatic steel ball optional intermediate shaft assembly line in China. The advanced processing, assembly and test equipment has brought about the improvement of product quality, demonstrated the strong impetus and sufficient stamina for the development of the enterprise, and thus has been highly praised by customers.
