In 2021, through the transformation and upgrading of old products, NHI took the lead in realizing the true unattended function of stacker and reclaimer in the domestic cement industry. Through the linkage mechanism composed of operating system, wireless communication system, monitoring system, detection and protection switch, PLC and low-voltage control system, an unattended system with the characteristics of high safety and reliability, high automation, accurate fault analysis, real-time monitoring of operating data, green environmental protection, convenient operation, simple interface and no training required system was created. The system includes adjustable reactor parameters, one key reactor replacement, double positioning, remote operation. Design functions such as remote parameter setting, remote monitoring, remote automatic work and flexible division of stockyard can be realized. After the operation of the system, it helps the enterprise reducing the production personnel related to the stacker reclaimer by about 40%, reducing the equipment failure shutdown rate by about 20%, and improving the production efficiency by about 5%.

With the achievements in cement industry, NHI and Northeastern University have launched in-depth cooperation to explore manufacturing technologies in the fields of remote operation and maintenance of stacker and reclaimer, material conveying systems, and the efficient data transmission. NHI established the leading group of Ping'an Iron and Steel intelligent stockyard reconstruction project, selected elite talents to form a core team, and actively promoted the transformation of technological achievements.

It is reported that the intelligent stockyard reconstruction project of Ping'an Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is based on mobile communication, data sensing and detection, information interaction and integration, adaptive control, visual data analysis and other multi-dimensional space-time acquisition technologies, which realizes the remote unattended full-automatic analysis and control of the stacking and reclaiming process of the raw material yard of iron and steel enterprises, which can realize the reliable coordination between the stacker and the reclaimer, and the remote full-automatic unmanned one key pile change.
