On October 15,2021, Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (NHI) held the fourth quarter of 2021 Production Safety Committee(enlarged) Meeting. Members of the company's leadership team, members of the company's safety production committee, and leaders of various professional groups, heads of various units, and deputy leaders in charge of safety attended the meeting.
The professional groups of NHI Safety Committee respectively announced the work summary for the third quarter of 2021 and the work schedule for the fourth quarter, focusing on occupational health and safety, environmental protection, site management, fire protection, transportation, equipment and facilities (construction), pressure vessels (electrical, pipeline) work and publicity of policies and regulations.
Mr. Zhang Bin, President of NHI and Director of the Safety Committee, put forward specific requirements for the company's safety management work in the fourth quarter. Mr. Zhang Bin pointed out that the fourth quarter is a critical period for the company to increase production and volume, and accelerate transformation and upgrading. Safety management personnel at all levels must strictly perform safety responsibilities, implement “safety work is always the first”and in accordance with the spirit of the series of speeches of Chairman Mr. Fang Wei of the group’s board of directors, such as“No matter how strict safety management is”, in accordance with the national, provincial, and municipal overall deployment of“carbon peak and carbon neutrality”, environmental protection should be done scientifically and systematically. All units must adhere to risk classification management and control, and strengthen the investigation and management of hidden dangers, conduct in-depth safety education and training to comprehensively improve employee safety awareness, continuously improve system construction to promote company safety production, identify winter risk factors and prepare for winter snow removal, adhere to on-site improvement and rectification, improve the level of on-site management, comprehensively advocate energy conservation and emission reduction, and uphold the concept of low-carbon environmental protection, adhere to the prevention and control of the epidemic and ensure the health and safety of employees. All units should always give top priority to safety work, firmly establish the concept of safety development, focus on the rectification of safety hazards, and strengthen preventive measures as the guarantee, adopt more solid and effective work measures, and pay attention to the various work of safety production.
